Christmassy Fruit Chutney

Christmassy Fruit Chutney

  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 40 minutes
  • Tip: Delicious spread over ham, chicken or roast beef in a sandwich or served with curry or grilled sausages.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sunbeam Sultanas, chopped
  • ½ cup Sunbeam Pitted Dates, chopped
  • ½ cup Sunbeam Fruit Bites Pineapple, chopped
  • ½ red capsicum, finely chopped
  • 2 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¾ cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red chilli
  • ½ teaspoon crushed garlic

Method

1.Mix the ingredients together in a stainless steel saucepan and bring to the boil.
2.Reduce heat and simmer for about 40 minutes until thick. Season with salt and pepper
3.Store in an airtight container. Flavour will improve if refrigerated for 2-3 weeks. Can be kept for up to 2 months. Serve with a cheese platter.
